Seed Paper Flowers

I made this card for a dear friend who was moving away.  The flower is made from just a brown paper bag and I glued forget-me-not seeds to it.  She can then plant it in her garden at her new home and always remember me!

Teacher Gift Ideas

It's been a while since I posted last. I have been way too busy. But now that school is out hopefully I will have more time to post fun things. (or less, now that I have 3 kids at home all day again) I made some fun teacher gifts to share with you.  Sorry about the pics, I took some with my camera phone so they don't look that great.
I can't for the life of me remember where I got this Post-it Note Holder idea from!
I got the pen on Vistaprint for free!  I also got 140 address labels for free that I forgot to take a picture of.  They said "This book belongs to:  Ms. Burt."  She can stick them in all of her books for the classroom.

I got these 3 ideas (chocolate, A&W, and candle) from eighteen25. She has some way cute ideas and printables available for free.
I gave this to the teachers on the last day of school. There is a beach towel, sunscreen, a magazine, and sunglasses.  Everything you need to relax in the sun!  I was thinking I could also add a water bottle, (or gatorade, etc.) and something to snack on like trail mix or something.  I got the sunglasses at Graveyard Mall.
They have a good deal every once in a while where you can get 10 pairs of nice name brand sunglasses for 10 bucks!

T-shirt Aprons

I lovie love aprons.  Just ask anyone I know and they will tell you that. If you have been to my house I am sure you have seen me in my apron at least once.  My mom even made me a Halloween one which I wear more than any of my other ones (my fave holiday ever).  Anyway I found these adorable T-shirt Aprons over at Ruffles and Stuff.  SOo  Cute!  They would be great to make for kids too. Go here check them out! Make one for your mom for Mother's Day!

Easy Fabric Eggs

I found this simple and easy tutorial on how to make fabric Easter eggs at "The Idea Room."  All you need is fabric, plastic eggs and modge podge!

You've been Egged...

Let someone know how much you love them, go egg their house!  Just fill up some plastic eggs with treats, scatter them all over their yard and front porch, and RUN!  You can download this fun printable over at "eighteen25" and post it on their door.  I like her idea to put little notes inside about how awesome each family member is that you are egging too.  Have fun!

Fun Printables!

I was over at Vale Design, she always has the cutest free printables and such on her website.  She has some adorable lunchbox notes printables and I wanted to share them with you.  My kids aren't at school all day long yet, so they don't have school lunches, but I am excited to use these!  I always loved it when my mom would put a sweet little note in my lunchbox, I would feel so special!  So I will definitely be saving these for when my cute little boys can take lunches to school!  Go here to print them out.

She also has some fun easter printables here.

Spring has sprung!

I think that spring is finally here. (knock on wood) And so is spring break! We are staying home this year (like always) and I know I will be going crazy with all of the boys at home all.. day... long. Sooo, I thought I would try to find some fun crafty things for us to do, especially with Easter coming up this weekend. So I will try to post some fun things this week. But, for now, here is just a cute springy thing to make until I do. Too bad I can't make it myself 'cause I can't knit but I thought it was way cute anyway! Go check it out here.
